As one of the few female media owners in the country, Jules brings an innovative, fresh perspective to the industry. A graduate of Tulane University with degrees in Art History and Photography, she garnered a broad spectrum of skills across all facets of media during the past two decades in her careers as a marketing and advertising agency principal, international art and antique dealer, nightclub owner and top-producing realtor.
A serial entrepreneur, in 2011, she set out on a new challenge by acquiring Florida Homes Magazine. The media industry provided a fresh canvas where the entirety of her skills could be utilized in exciting new ways. Jules’ prolific creativity, understanding of the advertisers’ perspective and keen eye for marketing strategy have been invaluable as she navigates the changing landscape of media in the digital age.
In 2014 she created FUSE Media+ to serve as an umbrella company for her growing titles. She then launched GRAVITAS Magazine, an entirely new concept for a women’s magazine. GRAVITAS Magazine was honored in the BEST NEW MAGAZINE category by the Florida Magazine Association.
At a time when many media companies have circled the wagons, Jules is dedicated to developing innovative brands that engage niche audiences on multiple platforms. She is focused on expanding the conversation and reach of her brands through innovative strategies with digital platforms and event marketing.
In her non-work life, Jules can be found on a ballfield, tennis court or floating in the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico with her sons, Zachary and Nicholas.
