Date night is so overrated. And honestly…a bit unrealistic. By Friday night, you’ve had a hectic five days of work, and after sitting in traffic for an hour or more, it can be difficult to muscle up the energy to get gorgeous and be gregarious for an evening. Instead, relax and unwind on Friday night, and shift “date night” to “all day” on Saturday instead!
Nighttime is sexy, but brunch can be, too:
TLC with your significant other—check!
You have more hours to be with one another, keeping your quality alone time all to yourself to recharge.
And brunch is the gift that keeps on giving. Since most of the popular brunch spots are located in newer strip centers and denser city areas, there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied on either side of you, across the road and down the street. From shopping plazas, to parks, theaters and other entertainment venues, you can fill a full day with date excursions that you don’t have to necessarily plan. Just let it naturally happen and unfold.
So shake things up a little and don’t stress so much about putting something together at the end of a long, hard workweek. Rest up on Friday and wake up ready to date the day away.
